The LCM Calculator is a free-to-use online tool that displays the LCM of two numbers. In traditional mathematics, the Least Common Multiple, commonly known as LCM, is a commonly used method known to determine the smallest factor or the smallest multiple of the given integers.

For example, the LCM of 4, 6 is calculated as follows:

Multiples of 4 are: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, …so on. Likewise, multiples of 6 are: 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, …. So on.

From the multiples of 4 and 6, the least common multiple is 12. Hence, the LCM of 4 and 6 is 12.

The formula to calculate the LCM of the numbers is given as:

For any two given integers, LCM (a,b) = (a*b)/gcd(a, b).

For any two given fractions, LCM = LCM of Numerator/HCF of Denominator.

The procedure to use the LCM calculator is mentioned under:

Step 1: First, enter the numbers in the respective input field.

Step 2: Then click the button “Solve” to get the solution.Step 3: Lastly, the LCM of two numbers will be displayed in the output field.
