UCSD GPA Calculator

The University of California San Diego students usually use this calculator to estimate the outcome of their quarter’s grades on the overall college average.

To calculate this cumulative average, one needs to enter in their current GPA and credit hours from previous quarters. Then, you enter this quarter’s grades and credits. It is that simple.

Follow the steps given below to accurately calculate your University of California-San Diego GPA:

Step 1: The earned UCSD GPA is calculated by adding up all the grade points a student has earned and dividing by the total amount of credit hours earned.

Step 2: The chart given with the calculator demonstrates how each letter grade corresponds to a specific grade point. The calculator then automatically converts each letter grade into grade points for your convenience.

Step 3: Credit hours vary from class to class. For instance, a normal class at University of California-San Diego may be worth 4 credits, while another part-time class is worth 2 credits. This means that the part-time class will have less of an effect on the UCSD GPA calculation than the full-time class.

Step 4: Now, enter a letter grade for each class you want to include in the calculation area, the classes corresponding number of credits.

Step 5: Submit the classes and credits in order to automatically generate your GPA.
